Police have opened an inquest docket into the light aircraft crash that killed two people in Midrand north of Johannesburg.
The plane crashed into the backyard of a residence killing the sole woman pilot and a gardener who was working at the time.
Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says “…both the man who was working and the pilot died at the scene. So far an inquest docket will be opened and the matter will be given to aviation for further investigations.”
