Police are investigating the death of a man in Luipaardsvlei in Krugersdorp on Gauteng’s West Rand on Saturday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak says paramedics arrived to find the man, believed to be in his late fifties, had been fatally shot.
Vermaak said, “At approximately half past five, paramedics attended the scene where they found the man on a gravel road. He was found with a gunshot wound to his stomach and sadly there was nothing that paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead on the scene. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known.”
Police attending the scene and will conduct an investigation.
