Police hunt for suspects in killing of 2 children in Limpopo

Two children died after the house they were sleeping in was allegedly torched by unknown suspect.

Police are still looking for suspects who allegedly petrol bombed a house at Sekgakgapeng village, outside Mukopane in Limpopo, killing two young girls aged two and five.

Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says eight members of the Kekana family were asleep when the incident happened.

Kamogelo 2, died on the spot while Sadie Kekana 5, died in hospital. Six family members including their mother are still in hospital.

Colonel Ngoepe said, “Provincial commissioner of SAPS in Limpopo General Nneke Ledwaba has condemned in the strongest terms the brutal attack and subsequent killing of two children in an apparent domestic related conflict.”

The house was torched by unknown suspect.

Police have asked anyone with information can contact Captain Richard Msomane on 0798945501.
