One suspect was shot and wounded during the shoot-out.

Limpopo police have foiled a cash-in-transit robbery and arrested four suspects in Tzaneen.

Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says members of Crime Intelligent and Tracking Team noticed four men observing activitites at a filling station.

When they approached the suspects they fled. A car chase and a shoot-out ensued between the suspects and the police.

Muridili says one suspect was shot and wounded during the shoot-out.

She says two vehicles with false number plates were also seized.
