This year’s annual budget speech is set for Wednesday 27 February at 2pm, and will be delivered by Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan. Predictions include the introduction of an additional income bracket at the top end of the salary range to ensure that the higher earners pay more tax to make up on the budget deficit, but this will only be seen on the day.
