Gauteng rapper and radio presenter, Tebogo Poopedi lost his sight at age of 14 from an injury he incurred during a soccer match in 2009.

According to the  2011 Census Data, an estimated 7.5% of South Africans have a disability. About 1.7% of them experience severe visual difficulty.

Poopedi shares his journey with disability, personal achievements, aspirations and challenges with SABC Digital News Producer Lebo Tshangela in this bi-weekly feature, Thrive.
