As the country celebrates Youth Month, political analyst, researcher, writer and broadcaster Angelo Fick says that many of our political elites believe they are owed positions of leadership because of the things they did in the past.

SABC Digital News producer Richard Brooks spoke to Fick and asked him to unpack South Africa’s political leadership since 1994:
