Plans are afoot to lure investors to create jobs in SA : Ramaphosa

African National Congress (ANC) president Cyril Ramaphosa says the ruling party has bold plans to create massive jobs, deliver quality education, and improve ailing infrastructure in the country.

He was addressing a mini rally at Msobobomvu Sports ground at Butterworth in the Eastern Cape.

Ramaphosa is campaigning in the Eastern Cape to rally support and votes for the ANC ahead of 8 May general elections. He says plans are afoot to lure investors who will create jobs in the country.

“We are focused on attracting investors to come and invest in our country so they grow our economy, so that it creates jobs.”

The president has also stressed the importance of education, adding that the ruling party will continue to deliver better and quality education in the country.

“We are investing a lot of money on education so that and that is why we are insisting that parents must make that their kids they do finish their grade 12.”

He reiterates that young people should not be required to have experience when looking for jobs.
