President Cyril Ramaphosa has warned African National Congress (ANC) members, who take party issues to court, to refrain from doing so.

He was speaking in Bloemfontein during a Thuma Mina outreach as part of the 2019 election campaign trail.

The Free State is among the provinces where ANC members have been taking party matters to court.

Ramaphosa says party challenges should be addressed internally and in his capacity as ANC leader, he says unity and renewal is the key to keeping the movement going.

“The solutions for the ANC are inside the ANC. We must resolve challenges within the organisation and talk amongst ourselves rather than resorting to outside agencies. So as we move, we are engaging, we are talking and this is how we are solving our problems,” says Ramaphosa.
