Convicted murderer, Christopher Panayiotou will on Wednesday apply for leave to appeal against his conviction and sentence in the Port Elizabeth High court in the Eastern Cape.
Panayiotou is serving a life jail term for orchestrating the kidnapping and murder of his wife, Jayde in April 2015.
His co-accused, Sinethemba Nenembe has also been jailed for life for the murder and 15 years for robbery with aggravating circumstances.
Zolani Sibeko got 15 years jail term for conspiracy to commit murder.
Meanwhile, self-proclaimed middleman, Luthando Siyoni will appear in the Port Elizabeth magistrate’s court for a formal bail application on Friday.
His immunity as a Section 204 witness was revoked last year.
He was on the run for six months but was eventually nabbed by police this month.
He faces charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and kidnapping.
