Oscar Pistorius Trial: Thursday 6 March 2014

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The third State witness in paralympian Oscar Pistorius murder trial will probably be cross-examined again by defence advocate Barry Roux as the trial enters its fourth day in the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday morning.

Charl Johnson was excused on Wednesday to collect notes that he had made after Reeva Steenkamp was shot and killed at Pistorius’s Pretoria home just over a year ago.

Pistorius’s apparent love for guns and alleged reckless behaviour came under scrutiny on Wednesday. A friend, Kevin Lerena,
testified how a shot accidentally fired by Pistorius nearly hit him.
