The Oscar Pistorius murder trial continues in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Thursday.
Day 9 will see forensic expert Colonel Johannes Vermeulen back in the witness stand.

Pistorius is facing a murder charge for killing his model girlfriend Reeva Sttenkamp on Valentines Day in 2013.
On Wednesday, the forensic expert disputed Pistorius’ claim that he was wearing his prosthetic legs when he broke down a locked door to reach his dying girlfriend.

Vermeulen told the court he believes the Paralympians was on his stumps when he broke down his toilet door with a cricket bat.
This contradicts Pistorius’s earlier statement that he had put on his prosthesis before bashing down the door.
Vermeulen is the first policeman to take the stand since Pistorius went on trial last week.
He has pleaded not guilty on all four charges he is facing.
