Opposition parties in the Eastern Cape are pledging to work together to ensure free and fair elections.
In addition to independent observers, parties have signed an agreement to collectively act as a watchdog on May the 8th.
Although their politics are different, their goal is however the same – free and fair elections.
It’s a move that parties believe will strengthen democracy. Various parties have also not ruled out the possibility of coalition talks after the elections.
