The court case of controversial pastor Timothy Omotoso has been remanded to the January 28, 2020 for judgement from the Constitutional Court.

Omotoso and his to co-accused, Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Solani made a brief appearance at the Port Elizabeth High Court on Thursday to hear the outcome of their application to the highest court in the country.

Defence lawyer Advocate Peter Dauberman had filed an application to overrule the decision of the Supreme Court of Appeal to give the court jurisdiction over all charges.

Dauberman wants charges to be heard in court jurisdictions where the alleged offences occurred.

Earlier presiding judge Irma Schoeman had dismissed a similar application, saying she saw no merit of success.

Omotoso remains in custody.
