The Hawks together with the Road Traffic Management Corporation have arrested three officials from the Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Drivers Licence Testing Centre in Underberg in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands.
A team of investigators from the various units swooped in on the centre where the three were allegedly issuing illegal learner driver licences.
The syndicated had been operating at the centre for more than year. The centre is currently on lock down and members of the public are not allowed to enter or leave the centre.
The three will be charged with fraud and corruption.
