The official programme of the 2019 World Economic Forum (WEF) on Africa kicks off on Wednesday morning with President Cyril Ramaphosa addressing a Brand-SA breakfast meeting in Cape Town.

The pre-World Economic Forum breakfast gathering is an opportunity for Team South Africa to develop an integrated approach to the country’s input into the WEF deliberations.

The 2019 World Economic Forum on Africa takes place under the theme – Shaping Inclusive Growth and Shared Futures in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

On Wednesday morning President Cyril Ramaphosa will meet with Team South Africa to develop and refine South Africa’s input to this gathering.

The team comprises a number of stakeholders in the South African society and economy and will participate in the World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town from Wednesday until Friday.

Earlier President Ramaphosa said the three day meeting will focus on promoting South Africa as an investment destination.
