Three police officers were arrested for the murder of Nathaniel Julies.

One of the three police officers accused of the murder of Eldorado Park teenager, Nathaniel Julies, will apply to be released on bail based on “new facts”.

Sergeant Vorster Netshiongolo’s application has been postponed twice.

Three officers from the Eldorado Park Police station have been arrested following Julies’ death in August.

In the video below, the bail application of 3 accused in Nathaniel Julies’ case was postponed:

Two officers in the case face charges of premeditated murder, defeating the ends of justice, discharging a firearm in a public space, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

The third police officer faces charges of accessory to murder after the fact, defeating the ends of justice and possession of prohibited ammunition.

The trio has been remanded in custody. They were denied bail in September.
