Former United States President Barack Obama has tested positive for COVID-19. He announced this in a tweet yesterday.
I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative.
It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.

Obama said he had just tested positive after suffering from a scratchy throat for a couple of days.
He said he was feeling fine otherwise and that former first lady Michelle had tested negative. The former President said they were both grateful to be vaccinated and boosted and encouraged others to do the same even as daily new cases in the country go down.
