Constitutional Law Expert Shadrack Gutto says the new constitution that Kenyans fought for is beginning to bear fruits.
He was reacting to Friday’s ruling by Kenya‘s Supreme Court that annulled the results of last month’s presidential election in which Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner.
“The highest court has demonstrated this time around, that they are going to look at the constitution and the laws of the country. But in the area where one is dealing with political alignments, then we are dealing here with a situation whereby the political parties have to be able not to manipulate the electoral system.”
