ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Saturday embark on an election campaign trail in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda Region in the North West.

The campaign is scheduled to commence at Ikgageng township in Potchesfstroom with door-to-door visits.

It will end in the afternoon in Khuma township near Stilfontein in the Klerksdorp area.

During his campaign trail Ramaphosa is expected to also engage potential voters through community meetings.

This with the aim of galvanising supporters and members to rally behind the party during the May 8 general elections.

The ANC president is expected to end his visit in the province on Sunday in Mahikeng, where he will be engaging with students and learners from the North West University.
