Northern Cape teenager to appear in court after allegedly beheading peer

It's alleged the 16-year-old murdered his 17-year-old peer, beheaded him and dumped his body in a trench.

A 16-year-old teenager is expected to appear in the Pampierstad Magistrate’s Court in the Northern Cape on a charge of murder.

It’s alleged the 16-year-old murdered his 17-year-old peer, beheaded him and dumped his body in a trench.

The horrific incident has left the community in shock and disbelief.

Seventeen-year old Lucky Taole was last seen on Saturday with his two peers.

The next morning his decapitated body was discovered by a passerby.

His family says his neck is still missing.
