Northern Cape police are requesting public assistance to find Sharleen Julies (30), a woman who was last seen hitchhiking from Upington to Olifantshoek nearly four months ago.
Police say the missing woman took a lift from an unknown motorist on September 11, 2021, and has never been seen after that.
Provincial police spokesperson Omphile Masegela says, “The SAPS in Rosedale requires the assistance of the public to locate the missing woman, Sharleen Julies who went missing on September 11, 2021. Sharleen was last seen taking a lift in an unknown car out of Upington on the Olifantshoek Road.”
Anyone with information can contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Jacques Willemse, on 064 084 1704.
