North West the last province yet to declare 100% of its voting district with the ANC winning 14 of the 18 contested councils

North West has become the only remaining province yet to declared 100% of the of its voting districts. All provinces have declared their results with the ANC leading in most of them despite falling below the 50% mark nationally. 

At 99% of the voting district declared nationally, North West is still yet to declared the final municipality results.  

The ANC has so far won 14 of the 18 municipalities in the province with three hung councils and one outstanding. 

The IEC is expected to announce the final results at 6pm on Thursday.
