The case of Norma Gigaba, wife of former Minister Malusi Gigaba, has been postponed to the 14th of next month in the Hatfield Magistrate’s Court in Pretoria.

The case will be transferred to the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.

Forty-year-old Gigaba is charged with among others, alleged assault and malicious damage to property.

The Hawks arrested her on Friday at the couple’s home in Waterkloof.

She spent the night in the holding cells at the Brooklyn police station before being released on bail of R5000 on Saturday.

It’s alleged that Gigaba damaged an expensive luxury vehicle that her husband had borrowed from a friend.
