Environmental Affairs Minister Nomvula Mokonyane’s husband, Serge, has died.
He passed away at a Johannesburg hospital on Thursday morning.
His family has requested that they be given privacy and space during their mourning period.
Family spokesperson Mlimandlela Ndamase says the family is officially in mourning and has requested privacy during this period of grief.
He says, “The family will in due course announce details pertaining to the funeral and any memorial events or services which may take place.”
