The SABC has confirmed that it will not broadcast PSL matches on both its radio and television platforms for the entire 2019/2020 Absa Premiership season.

This comes after the Public Broadcaster failed to reach a sub-license agreement with Supersport – who are the rights holders – saying the price was too high.

In the last five years the SABC has incurred a loss of R1.3 billion in relation to the broadcast of PSL matches.
