Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has made one enforced change to the starting line-up for Sunday’s Rugby World Cup semi-final against Wales in Yokohama. Sbu Nkosi is in the line-up, because Cheslin Kolbe has not recovered sufficiently from his ankle injury.

Kolbe hurt his ankle in the game against Canada, and then aggravated the problem in the quarter final win over Japan. That’s the only change to the match 23 for this week’s much anticipated encounter.

Erasmus has stayed with his tactic of loading the bench with forwards with a 6/2 split. Kick-off is at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning.

The Springbok team to play Wales in Yokohama on Sunday is:

  1. Willie le Roux 14. Sbu Nkosi 13. Lukhanyo Am  12. Damian de Allende  11. Makazole Mapimpi 10. Handré Pollard  9. Faf de Klerk  8. Duane Vermeulen  7. Pieter-Steph du Toit 6. Siya Kolisi (captain) 5. Lood de Jager  4. Eben Etzebeth  3. Frans Malherbe  2. Bongi Mbonambi 1. Tendai Mtawarira

Replacements: 16. Malcolm Marx  17. Steven Kitshoff  18. Vincent Koch  19. RG Snyman  20. Franco Mostert  21. Francois Louw  22. Herschel Jantjies  23. Frans Steyn.
