Head of Communications at the National Freedom Party (NFP) Sabelo Sigudu has resigned. Sigudu says he believes that the NFP is no longer serving the interest of society and has reached the end of its life span.
He says the party leadership is clouded with old people with no clarity of the current political landscape.
Sigudu says he will announce his new political home soon.
“Well I am resigning based on the principal that the NFP does not deliver on its promises on ensuring that young people and women are fully represented in all spheres in as much as the list of candidate is concerned. I personally believe the NFP has reached its ceiling where there is a crisis of leadership. I haven’t decided yet where I’m going, but I will give my update before the end of this week.”
