NFP calls on KZN Premier to present solutions to unemployment during SOPA

The National Freedom Party (NFP) is calling for KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala to present solutions for unemployment.

Zikalala will deliver his State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Thursday in Pietermaritzburg.

NFP Secretary-General Canaan Mdletshe is also looking for clarity on the installation of the new AmaZulu King and last year’s civil unrest.

“We also want the Premier to talk at length about the issue of the King’s installation. We are very concerned that time has passed without the King being installed. We are also hoping that Zikalala will touch on the issue of racial tensions as we observed in Phoenix last year in July.

He must tell us what has government done to stop these political killings that have ravaged the province of KZN.”
