New Zealand win 3rd T20 against Bangladesh three-nil

The New Zealand cricket has won the three-match T20 International series against Bangladesh three-nil. The Black Caps won the last match in Auckland, reduced to 10 overs per side because of rain, by 65 runs.

The home side was put in to bat and made 141 for the loss of four wickets.

Opening batsmen, Martin Guptil and Finn Allen, laid the foundation with an 85 run partnership. Guptil departed for 44 scored off 19 deliveries, while Allen smashed 71 off 29 balls, hitting 10 fours and three sixes.

Bangladesh were restricted to 76 all out with Tim Southee and Todd Astle taking seven wickets between them.

Earlier, the series decider between the women’s teams of New Zealand and Australia at the same venue, was abandoned after two overs and five deliveries due to rain with Australia on 14 for one.

The series ended one-all.
