Ndlovu Youth Choir reaches America’s Got Talent finals

The Limpopo Department of Arts and Culture has expressed excitement about the Ndlovu Youth Choir making it through to the finals the America’s Got Talent competition. In their latest performance, the choir from Moutse performed the song Higher Love, by Whitney Houston and Kygo’s Steve Winwood.

Arts and Culture MEC Thandi Moraka is calling on all South Africans to continue supporting the choir.

“We are more than excited and we are also confident that the Ndlovu Youth Choir is going to be crowned the winner of the season 14 of the America’s Got Talent show which is currently underway. And as the department, we want to take this opportunity and do urge all South African citizens who in United States of America to continue to vote for the choir.”

Aggy Magopa, the mother of one of the choir members, expressed delight at the success of the choir in the competition.

“We are very much excited, very happy. I wish them the luck,the best of the luck . I’m over the moon. We have those talents; they can sing, they can dance; I wish I would be with them there.”
