‘My dream and vision for South Africa is to have less discrimination’

Selouna Visser (23) is from Potchefstroom, she was born with a condition known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy and was only able to walk until the age of 7. Her health deteriorated and she was then confined to a wheelchair. When she was just two years- old, doctors said she would be bed-ridden by the time she was ten.

Against the odds, Selouna Visser defied the doctors and was able to attend a mainstream university.
