Susan Rohde is accused of the murder of his wife.

Murder accused and property mogul, Jason Rohde is expected to appear in the Cape Town High Court on Tuesday morning.

He is accused of the murder of his wife, Susan Rohde, who was found dead in the bathroom of a bedroom at Spier Wine Farm in Stellenbosch in 2016.

The size of his legal team has been reduced due to financial constraints.

Earlier the court heard that Rohde’s defence team, led by advocate Pete Mihalik, applied to be withdrawn from the case.

This after the businessman said he could no longer afford their services.

Graham van der Spuy will now be representing Rohde.
