The ANC in Mpumalanga has promised to upgrade security at public hospitals.

Security guards in some public facilities embarked on a go slow demanding their unpaid salaries.

ANC spokesperson, Sasekani Manzini says the provincial government will attend to the problems that led to the non payment of security personnel.

About eight hospitals, clinics and schools have been affected.

Manzini says the ANC has noted that there were disruptions in terms of security in government facilities.

“We have spoken to Premier Refilwe Motshweni Tsipane and she assured us that the matter is receiving attention.”

“We are also going to work with unions, your COSATU and DENOSA.”
