Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) National Chairperson Dali Mpofu says he’s confident that the party will get more seats in Parliament after the May General Elections.

Mpofu went on a door to door campaign in Port Elizabeth on Thursday. He praised Nelson Mandela Bay region members, for believing in the EFF when it was established in 2013.

He added that the campaign aims to revive supporters and commended his party, saying it has done well in fast tracking service delivery in various municipalities.

“The reception we’re receiving in this area is very positive and it is encouraging. For example like in this home of the Mazondo’s, we have been welcomed with warm hands. What we like with our people is that, they are not just accepting our message they are asking questions,” says Mpofu.

Meanwhile, regional chairperson Amandlangawethu Madaka says the party is not happy with the environment and service delivery in Nelson Mandela Bay, adding that the EFF can make a difference.

“We promise better service delivery, in terms of refuse collections. Our city, not only Njoli but the city as a whole. We promise people jobs especially the youth,” says Madaka.
