Mosimane has not changed his mind on CAF priority

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says that he is prepared for possible casualties that could come of the side’s CAF Champions League semi-final second leg against Wydad Casablanca on Saturday.

Sundowns were without the likes of Tiyani Mabunda, Ricardo Nascimento and Lebogang Maboe in last night’s 2-1 league win against Black Leopards due to fatigue and injuries from the first leg.

The result in Thohoyandou levelled points with Orlando Pirates at the summit of the Absa Premiership log.

Between vying for domestic honours and/or the Champions League, Mosimane says he has not changed his mind on which competition takes priority for him personally.

Mosimane was also full of praise for his charges last night, from Dennis Onyango who pulled two outstanding saves against Lidoda Duvha to Man of the match  Rivaldo Coetzee who impressed the coach in central midfield and he was also called a star.

Mosimane also sympathises with Leopards who are a spot and two points above the relegation with two games to go.

The former Bafana Bafana mentor says the Vhembe based side does not deserve to get dragged into survival battles adding that Dylan Kerr has put in a lot of work in improving the club. – Report by Lethabo Kganyago
