Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says AmaZulu FC is a very good team with a good coach.

The Brazilians will tackle the Durban team in the Telkom Knockout Cup first round match at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Sunday afternoon.

AmaZulu have a new coach in Josef Vukuzic after getting rid of Cavin Johnson. AmaZulu beat Sundowns in a league match last season, while the other match ended in a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Sundowns have been drawn in Group C alongside Wydad Casablanca, USM Algiers and Petro Luanda. Mosimane once faced USM while he was still coaching SuperSport United.

Sundowns have been paired with Wydad for the fourth time in a row. The Moroccans have been dominating the PSL champions in recent times. Mosimane is hoping for an improvement.

Sundowns have never faced Petro Luanda before in the CAF Champions League. Mosimane is also anticipating a challenging encounter. – Report by Vincent Sitsula
