The Brazilians are bidding to win three trophies, the CAF Champions League and the Nedbank Cup. The reigning PSL Champions have already won the Telkom Knockout Cup.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is counting on Bidvest Wits to do them a favour in the league race.

Wits still have to play log leaders Kaizer Chiefs twice. The Clever Boys drew twice with the Brazilians to take 4 points away from them.

Sundowns are currently third on the log trailing Chiefs by 10 points, although they have a match in hand.

Pirates are second on the log with Wits in fifth position behind Chiefs by 15 points with five matches in hand. Mosimane says they will fight for the league or at least finish second.

The reigning PSL Champions have already won the Telkom Knockout Cup. Mosimane says it is a tall order to win a treble.

Meanwhile, Sundowns will play against Chippa United in a league match at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria on Saturday afternoon. Chippa are lying in 12th position on the log.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the first round in Port Elizabeth. Mosimane says they are playing a team in good form.
