British singer/songwriter James Morrison has ended his maiden tour of South Africa on a high flying note in the Mother City with screaming fans throwing bra’s at the unsuspected performer in the Kirstenbosch Garden.
Morrison had four sold out gigs on local turf, in preparation for his upcoming United Kingdom (UK) tour to promote his new album, “You’re Stronger Than You Know”.
The singer told SABC News after the Cape Town gig that he was stunned by local audiences’ reaction to his music and onstage performance.
Morrison praised South Africans for their positive response, enthusiasm and energy, saying he doesn’t even get that back home in the UK.
He said he would love to come back to South Africa to perform as soon as his already committed international gigs are over.
