The South African Weather Service is predicting more rainfall across KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
The province has received significant overnight rains coupled with thunderstorms.
Weather forecaster Wisani Maluleke says an alert of localised flooding has been issued.
“We are expecting 80% chances of rain and thunderstorms. It’s already raining in most parts of KwaZulu-Natal and we also having an alert where we expecting disruptive rainfall which might lead to localised flooding and difficulty travelling conditions over most parts of KwaZulu-Natal today and then moving into tomorrow we are only expecting most of the rain to clear but the areas where we still expecting some rain it’s along our coastal areas and the northern part of the KZN early in morning clearing during the day.”
