Former Prasa CEO Lucky Montana says Tony Gupta had threatened him in a meeting in which he had reprimanded Gupta and President Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane.

Montana was responding to EFF Chief Floyd Shibambu’s question when he appeared before the Eskom Parliamentary inquiry on Tuesday.

Montana says former Transport Minister Ben Martins also attended the meeting.

According to Montana, Martins introduced him to Gupta and Duduzane before he left a conference in Berlin in September 2012.

Montana says there was another meeting after Martins returned from the conference.

Montana says Gupta actually focussed on Martins.

Relating what Gupta said he said: “We told you that we do not want Lucky and you told us that he is your comrade.”

“So for me it tells me that there was a discussion previously when this issue was raised somewhere but it became evident in there,” says Montana.
