ActionSA has named its KwaZulu-Natal leader, Zwakele Mncwango, as the party’s mayoral candidate for eThekwini. The announcement was made by ActionSA president Herman Mashaba in KwaMashu, north of Durban, earlier today.
He also named Halalisani Ndlovu and Zwe Nxumalo as the party’s mayoral candidates for the KwaDukuza and Newcastle municipalities.
Accepting the nomination, Mncwango says tackling hijacked buildings will be among his priorities if elected.
He says ActionSA will also establish a dedicated unit to deal with the issue of undocumented immigrants.
Mncwango says the party will also focus on addressing water and sewage problems across the city.
“We have a solution. We will repair major leaks within 48 hours, (perform) regular maintenance on our storm water, other infrastructure. We ensure that every community receives quality municipal services.”
We proudly welcome ActionSA’s newly announced Mayoral Candidate for eThekwini Municipality, @Zwakelem! 🇿🇦
