Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka has been campaigning for all sporting codes to pay women the same as they do their male counterparts.

The Director of United Nations Women, Doctor Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka and the FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, have signed a memorandum of understating that calls on equal pay for women in soccer.

Doctor Mlambo-Ngcuka has been campaigning for all sporting codes to pay women the same as they do their male counterparts.

She’s the voice and chief lobbyist for women around the world.

The United Nation’s Director of Women has continued to push for gender equality.

Mlambo-Ngcuka knows all too well how women around the world are still discriminated against their gender.

Now she’s set her sights on the sporting front, more specifically the pay gap between women and men.

On Saturday history was made with a firm step towards fighting prevailing injustice.
