An 11-year-old girl was found murdered after she went missing for a day at Ga-Marishane village in Jane-Furse in Limpopo.
It’s alleged that the girl was raped before she was killed.
Her body was discovered in the bushes on Friday.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says they have launched a massive manhunt for the suspect.
“Police in Nebo outside Groblersdal have launched a massive manhunt of the suspect involved in the killing of an 11-year old girl at Ga-Marishane village. The body of the deceased was found at an area outside Ga-Marishen village yesterday…The issue of whether the deceased was raped before she was killed will be determined during the post-mortem examination,” says Ngoepe.
