Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi has urged workers to fight corruption, nepotism and maladministration in their spaces in a bid to improve service delivery.

Nxesi was addressing the third workers’ Parliament in Bhisho in the Eastern Cape.

The theme of the gathering was ‘With determination, dedication, selflessness and humility we place ourselves at the service of the people’.

The Minister says there’s a need for joint efforts in seeking solutions to problems that hamper service delivery.

“We must all collectively fight greed and corruption. Those who stole must be punished and the monies returned to the people. We need leaders who show dedication and selflessness who are not arrogant but show humility and place themselves at the service of the people as a whole not for personal greed but to serve others,” explains Nxesi.
