Justice and Correctional Services spokesperson Mukoni Ratshitanga says Minister Michael Masutha is receiving the best care at a Pretoria hospital after collapsing at a funeral service at Malamulele in Limpopo on Saturday.
Masutha is being treated by medical practitioners at Medi-clinic Heart Hospital.
He was attending the funeral of Limpopo Agriculture MEC Joyce Mashamba when he collapsed.
Ratshitanga says Masutha remains in a stable condition.
“Minister Masutha is stable – he’s being well looked after by medical practitioners. And he’s been transferred from Limpopo to a medical facility in Pretoria,” adds Ratshitanga.
