Miguel Louw to be laid to rest on Saturday

Ten-year-old Miguel Louw, whose body was found in Phoeix north of Durban last week, will be laid to rest on Saturday.

Miguel went missing in July.

The confirmation through DNA that the remains were of Louw shocked many who had hoped the boy would be found alive.

The picture of the missing 10 year circulated on social networks being shared by many hoping the boy would be found alive.

The discovery of his body is to bring closure to his family. Hundreds are expected to attend his funeral service.

Earlier this week various community leaders and learners held a picket calling for a safer environment for children.

Meanwhile, a suspect arrested by police in connection with his kidnapping remains behind bars. Police investigations into the killing of Louw continues.
