Metro FM’s Young ‘n Free Youth Day Celebration is set to celebrate and commemorate the youth who fought for freedom with an impressive line-up of some of South Africa’s cream of the crop artists.
Growing in popularity and its third year running, the event will take place on Monday 15 June at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg south, to accommodate a much bigger crowd.
Metro FM Programme’s Manager Tony Soglo says the theme “Take the Next Step” urges today’s youth to take steps towards greatness like the youth of 1976 did.
The Young ‘n Free Youth Day Celebration will be followed by the Metro FM Walk of Freedom on June 16,
The much anticipated line-up includes artists Cassper Nyovest, Zola, Big Nuz and Riky Rick and DJ Naves, DJ Sbu, Euphonik, Major League and Lulu Café, to name a few.
Also featured on the line-up, Metro FM DJ Spectacula says there will a timeline of South Africa’s milestones from 1976 to date that will be on display at the event.
