The suspects, including two traditional healers were arrested almost three months ago when a teenager revealed the syndicate and the alleged digging up graves.

The murder case of two men who were found in possession of a human head in Polokwane has been adjourned until Wednesday in the High Court in Polokwane.

Edward Raatji and Stanley Mohlake are being tried for allegedly killing Nthabiseng Mosomane.

Her headless body was found a day after their arrest in Mapela in Mokopane.

State prosecutor Johann Kotze says both Mohlake and Raatji were involved in the murder of Nthabiseng Mosomane because the head that was found in their possession was linked to Mosomane.

Kotze says Raatji was the mastermind behind this murder because he is the one who connected Mohlake with a business woman, Sonti Mashilo who they wanted to sell the head to.

He says Raatji also drove with Mohlake to meet Mashilo in Polokwane.

Kotze further said Raatji’s phone was used by Mohlake to communicate with Mashilo at all times.

Kotze is also adamant that Raatji is withholding some information because he avoided many questions when he was being cross examined by the prosecutor.
