Sele hopes that the measures will reduce such incidents.
“Working with the provincial government, we are also looking at the issue of having high mass lights across our region. High mass lights that have cameras, and also the panic button that has been introduced by the southern provincial government. Adding to that, we will use our capacity in terms of our public safety division working together with police to ensure that there is a coordinated effort to deal with this criminality.”
